Nigerian rapper, Olamide has revealed that Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is his favourite musician in Ghana. According to the “Motigbana” crooner, Shatta Wale’s now-fierce rival, Sarkodie is not an artist he cherishes so much but rather mentioned him as the rapper he admires. Explaining why he got featured on Shatta Wale’s “Reign” album in an interview on Starr FM, Accra, Olamide stated that Shatta Wale sent him the song, he loved it and jumped on it – it should be noted that Olamide is the only artist featured on Shatta Wale’s album. He further stated that he also got the love for Kuami Eugene and Rufftown Records’new signee, Wendy Shay and DopeNation; a group he’s yet to record a song with. If the current news going on social media is anything to go by, there will be enough controversies on the 23rd of December this year as the two top artistes in Nigeria “Olamide and Wizkid” are having their shows on that same day. Olamide  had earlier tweeted it to his fans that his regular annual OLIC show will hold on 23rd of December 2018 at Eko hotel convention center. Coincidentally, Wizkid also posted something related as his #Madeinlagos concert is holding in Eko Atlantic same day. This has however caused hot argument among fans as many of these fans can’t afford to miss any of the two shows. We are hopeful one of these artistes my postpone it for another as they are known to be good friends. But as at press time, the dates still remain the same.

      Queen Zaynab-Otiti Obanor, the former wife of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has congratulated the Ooni and his new wife, Yeyeluwa Silekunola Naomi on their marriage. In an Instagram post, the former Ooni’s wife shared a photocard, which read, “It was once said that there is nobility in compassion, beauty in empathy and grace in forgiveness. Congratulations to The Ooni and his new bride, Shilekunola Naomi Moronke Oluwaseyi. May God bless your union.”       Queen Zaynab-Otiti announced that she and the Ooni were no longer together in August 2017.
